Little Rebels: X Factor winners ignore formal dress code to rock the NTA red carpet in ripped leggings and mini skirts

They've already established that they're not quite prepared to play to the usual girl band stereotype.

And Little Mix's appearance at tonight's National Television Awards was the perfect example of their funky off-beat approach.

The foursome showcased their edgy style on the red carpet- making a contrast to the other female guests of the evening, most of whom opted for full-length gowns.

Jesy Nelson opted for her trademark leggings- but eschewed her favourite animal print style in favour of a ripped black pair.

She teamed her legwear- which displayed her still-shrinking frame- with black leather spiked heels.

The 20-year-old wore a zebra-print top embellished with a bright poppy pattern, with a black leather waistcoat, revealing slim tanned arms.

Jesy's high-volume curls contributed to the eye-catching effect, and she added red lipstick for a further splash of colour.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock continued the poppy theme wearing a daring white, leopard print and black dress emblazoned with poppies to match Jesy's, completing her look with smokey eyes and red lips.

She and Jade Thirlwall both wore cute ankle socks with bare legs for an alternative look, with Jade also sporting black braces over an orange shirt to youthful effect.

Perrie Sinclair was sleek in black leggings and a black vest, accessorising with a sparkling gold headband and cross pendant, which perfectly set off her blonde locks.

The girls took to the stage to perform their X Factor stalwart Don't Let Go by En Vogue, which went down to rapturous applause.

Perrie had taken to the official Little Mix Twitter account upon their arrival to post: 'At the O2 I think I might die with excitement! :O so nervous for tonight, hope it all goes well.

Getting ready to rock & roll now! Perrie <3'

Kitty Brucknell sports unflattering hair piece as she clings onto her 15 minutes

Kitty Brucknell may fancy herself as Lady Gaga's new best friend, but Kitty Brucknell should perhaps draw the line at emulating her style.

Dressed head-to-toe in black, the former Britney Spears impersonator opted for an oversized androgynous blazer and tassled knee-length skirt.

X Factor crew wrecked our wedding: Pair's reception is ruined by catering errors and starstruck guests

It should have been the perfect wedding in every way. The five-star country estate in leafy Hertfordshire had been booked for 18 months and bride Kelly Filistad had spared no expense.

But Kelly had not planned for the presence of The X Factor, which was filming scenes in the hotel on her big day in August.

Guests were served the wrong food, a wedding cake went missing, the DJ played the wrong track for the couple’s first dance and, instead of toasting the newlyweds, guests wandered off to find the ITV show’s judges.
