Sightseeing in style! David and Victoria Beckham take the children for day out at the Eiffel Tower

They might be one of the most famous families in the whole world, but that doesn't mean that the Beckhams don't like to mix with the hoi polloi from time to time.
And this is exactly what they did on Sunday, turning sightseers for the day as they headed to the Eiffel Tower for a family day out.
With all four of their children in tow, David and Victoria headed up to the top of the famous landmark during their long weekend in the French capital.

Footballer David might be living in the City Of Lights, but wife Victoria and children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper are still just visitors, as they spent a few days away from London.
Making the most of their flying visit, the couple decided to take their kids for a day out at the tourist attraction, followed by lunch at the Jules Verne restaurant.
But if they thought that they were going to blend into the thronging crowd, then they were wrong, as they immediately attracted attention upon jumping out of their car.

Fashion designer Victoria, 39, looked chic in one of her favourite outfits, that she spotted wearing just last week while out shopping.
Showing off her svelte frame in a 1970s style ensemble, the mother-of-four wore a pair of high-waisted jeans with a loose-fitting grey T-shirt tucked in.
Looking perfect for the day of family fun, she wore her hair in her usual wavy style and clutched orange plastic bags in one hand, having clearly stopped by the gift shop.

Slipping out the back door, the boys seemed in high spirits as they sipped on drinks, while baby Harper held a small tub of ice cream, while being carried by her dad.
The afternoon before, David had got in some quality time with his three sons, as the quartet enjoyed a training session together.

David, 38, and his boys were seen leaving the PSG Camp des Loges after a football coaching session.

It is going to be the first time a man has ever graced the front cover of ELLE magazine, so bosses of the publication are obviously hoping it will have an impact.

And what better way than to shoot David Beckham getting wet with his top off?

The football superstar may have turned 37 just a few days ago but he is just as fit and healthy as ever.

Cover star: David Beckham shows off his impressive body yet again as teaser images are given of his cover shoot for ELLE UK in a newly released video

And to prove it he has stripped off to show his toned chest once again as the publishers gear up the excitement ahead of its release.

A teaser video showing behind the scenes footage of the shoot has now been released by ELLE chiefs online ahead of the July issue's release.

And one thing's for sure, David will appear semi naked on the hotly anticipated cover.

Poser: The football superstar will become the first ever male to grace the cover of the magazine when the July issue is finally released
Beckham shows off his six pack and collection of arm tattoos as he stands holding a white towel with his hair slicked back during the cover session.
And in other stills from the clip he is seen punching the air against a backdrop of trees and a swimming pool.
To drum up even more excitement, ELLE bosses have scrawled words across the screen as flashes of the shoot are shown, which read: 'The Beckham issue is coming. Prepare yourself'.

Gathering excitement: Bosses at the magazine are drumming up anticipation before they reveal the actual cover image

Taking a dip: It appears David will be seen wet with his shirt off for the picture
When it was announced on the MailOnline last month that Beckham was to become the first male cover star of the publication, the sports man said: 'ELLE is a prestigious magazine with international recognition.
'I'm honoured to have been asked to be the first ever solo male fashion cover.'
Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy, added: 'David Beckham is a national hero, so we saw an opportunity to shoot a celebratory cover to support an historical and patriotic year.

Scenic: David had his hair slicked back as he flexed his muscles during the shoot
'He is an icon and ELLE is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike.
'Anyway, who doesn't want to see a picture of one of the world's most handsome men on the front cover of a magazine? It will be a collector’s issue.'

I haven't had time for a holiday with David for three years, says Posh

    Celebrity Blog

With a joint fortune of £165million, David and Victoria Beckham can clearly afford a holiday.

But according to Mrs Beckham, she has not managed to have a break with her husband for the past three years.

Three young sons, a baby girl and a fashion brand beloved by the A list would appear to have left her with her hands too full even to go shopping very often.

On the beach: David and Victoria Beckham on the beach at Club 55 in St Tropez several years ago

Looking gaunt, 37-year-old Victoria said she had been left exhausted by eight-month-old daughter Harper’s sleepless nights.

And David, 36, said it had been years since the couple had watched anything other than children’s movies.
However, their comments, to American Vogue, would seem to be slightly far-fetched as the family have, in fact, managed to get some respite over the past few years.

They are frequently pictured on the beach in the exclusive Californian resort of Malibu. And in December 2010 they were pictured on holiday in northern California with close friend Gordon Ramsay and his family.

In June of that year they enjoyed a holiday in St Tropez, while in spring 2009 they relaxed at George Clooney’s Italian villa on Lake Como.

Giving a picture of a rather domesticated life in Los Angeles, where former England football captain David plays, the couple told how they cuddle up in bed ‘like little peas in a pod’ with sons Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, and Cruz, seven, as well as Harper.

David Beckham fumes after fan throws a beer can at him at Toronto game

    Celebrity Blogs
    Celebrity Blog

David Beckham was fuming last night when a Toronto FC fan pelted him with a beer can during a football match in Canada last night.

The Los Angeles Galaxy player was preparing to take a corner when the empty packaging was hurled at him from a member of the crowd at the Rogers Centre.

The can was an attempt to distract the 37-year-old, who had already been covered in streamers, as he stood on the side of the pitch.

Not happy: David Beckham holds up a beer can that was thrown at him during the Toronto FC-Los Angeles Galaxy match at the Rogers Centre last night

Fuming: The can was just one of many distractions Toronto FC fans attempted ahead of his corner kick

Clearly unamused, Becks picked up the can and shook it at the crowd, demonstrating his displeasure.

However, he managed to get the last laugh when he kicked the ball to team-mate Landon Donovan, who ended up equalising 2-2.

Speaking about the incident later, Beckham said: 'Tonight was a great atmosphere. The majority were here to enjoy the spectacle.

'It’s a shame some people spoiled it. It’s disappointing kids see it … but it was a great atmosphere.'

This is ridiculous: Beckham has to clear the pitch ahead of his corner kick

Earlier on Wednesday, Beckham was spotted with his teammates for a stroll around the Toronto suburb of Yorkville.

The boys stopped at a local Starbucks for a caffeine fix to perk them up for the first leg of the quarter-final of the CONCACAF Champions League.

With his hands in his pockets, the father-of-four walked side by side with the lads as they chatted and checked out the town.

I'm trying to play here: Beckham is covered in streamers as he takes a corner

He wore an identical blue and yellow Adidas tracksuit to his teammates, along with blue trainers.

He will no doubt be missing his children, but he was able to celebrate his eldest son Brooklyn's 13th birthday on Sunday.

David and wife Victoria made sure their eldest son remembered entering his teenage years by arranging for their good friend Usher to phone him.

A source told the Daily Star: 'As he was unwrapping a new Arsenal football kit, David casually walked in telling him there was someone on the phone who wanted to wish him happy birthday.'

The insider also revealed Brooklyn presumed it was just another relative from England as the phone had been ringing all morning with well-wishers from their native UK.

David Beckham looks chuffed as he meets 'the great man' Muhammad Ali at his 70th birthday party

    Celebrity Blogs

He is one of the most famous footballers in the world, but even David Beckham is capable of getting starstruck.

The 36-year-old star looked extremely honoured when he met boxing legend Muhammad Ali last weekend.

The father-of-four had been invited to the star's 70th birthday celebrations at the Power of Love Gala in Las Vegas along with a whole host of famous faces.

Memorable moment: David Beckham posted this photo on his Facebook page of him meeting Muhammad Ali last weekend

Meeting Ali was clearly a special moment for David, so much so that he posted a photo of the unforgettable moment on his Facebook page.

'Here is a shot of me meeting the great man, an honour,' was the caption he wrote to accompany the shot that sees him shaking Ali's hand as he enjoys his party at a table with his family.

David had clearly made a lot of effort for the party and arrived wearing a smart dark suit, a white shirt and slicked his hair back into his usual style.

The LA Galaxy player addressed the crowd when he introduced singer Stevie Wonder to the stage - who had flown straight from Whitney Houston's funeral in New Jersey.

However, Stevie wasn't the only star there who treated Ali to a song as Kelly Rowland also belted out some of her hits.

Showing his support: Footballer David Beckham helped celebrate Ali's birthday

Making an effort: The father-of-four looked smart in a dark suit and patterned tie

The X Factor judge arrived at the event wearing a show-stopping, floor length pink gown that showed off her slender figure.

Later she took to the stage again and performed in a yellow mini-dress and then a one-shouldered, gold gown.

Other musicians in attendance included Snoop Dogg, Diddy, Neyo and Lenny Kravitz -with some of them also entertaining the 2,000 guests.

Actors Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Hopkins and Tony Danza also came along and showed their support at the Gala.

Ali suffers from Parkinsons' disease and the event was expected to raise millions of dollars for charity.

Becks tries not to look at scantily-clad cheerleaders as he sits front row with his boys at LA Lakers game

It must be hard to remain composed when the world is watching your every move.

Especially when there are scantily-clad cheerleaders parading in front of you.

David Beckham was spotted looking a little flushed as a bevy of beauties walked past him and his boys at the LA Lakers game against the Phoenix Suns.

Transfixed: David Beckham and his middle son Romeo couldn't help but stare as a group of cheerleaders sashayed past them at the LA Lakers game at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles
While his wife Victoria was making sure her new collection had a successful launch in London, the footballer was enjoying a boys night out at the basketball.

Becks, 36, was accompanied by Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, and Cruz, six, at the Staples Centre.

And both David and middle son Romeo were both caught taking in the sights from their courtside seats.

All four one and one four all: David with his sons (l-r) Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo

Becks and Romeo couldn't help but stare at one of the Lakers cheerleaders as she sashayed past them.

He wore a brown T-shirt with jeans and a pair of shoes, with a wooly hat covering his hair.

The foursome looked like they were having a great time, fully engrossed in the game throughout.

Having a ball: Cruz, David and the rest of the Beckham boys appeared to be having a great time at the match

At one point David spoke with Spanish Lakers star Pau Gasol, who towered over him during their courtside conversation.

It's not the first time the LA Galaxy star has been caught with a wandering eye at a basketball match.

In fact, ever since becoming a regular at the Staples Centre it seems David has enjoyed watching the cheerleaders perform their entertaining shows - as any red-blooded male would.

'It's all you need': David Beckham says he only has three close friends... but he is more than happy about that

He has a life of celebrity and wealth that few of us can dream of.

But David Beckham has revealed that there is an unfortunate downside to fame for him - he only has three friends.

The footballer said that over the years his circle of ‘20 good friends’ has gradually decreased to a trio of ‘really good friends’.

Beckham no-mates: Footballer David has revealed that he only has three good friends - but he is more than happy with that

These three along with his wife Victoria and their four children are enough to keep him content, Mr Beckham said in an interview.

He did not disclose if he chose to limit his number of friends, or if he has been gradually abandoned over the years.

The 36-year-old also did not specify who the three were, although he is known to be on very good terms with Tom Cruise who lives close to him in Los Angeles.

Wing man: Although Beckham didn't mention specifically who these three friends were, one of his best friends is football agent Dave Gardner, seen here with him in London last week

Former Manchester United team mate Gary Neville was his best man at his wedding and he is chummy with Princes William and Harry.

Speaking to the U.S. edition of Men’s Health magazine, Mr Beckham said: ‘I’ve got friends at the different teams I’ve played for, but family is the most important thing to me.

'That will always be the case. I’ve got my wife. I’ve got my four kids. I’ve got parents, grandparents still, and three really good friends.

Top boy: David, seen here with Gary Neville in 2006, who was his best man at his wedding to Victoria

'It’s all you need. I’d rather have three really good friends than 20 good friends.'

Should he so desire, Mr Beckham could have far more than his chosen trio of close associates.

He is adored by millions of fans worldwide who recently drooled over him in his underwear for an advertising campaign for H&M.

A-list buddies: David is also good friends with Tom Cruise, who he got to know well when he moved to Los Angeles

He is still respected in the footballing world - he holds the record for the most number of outfield appearances for the England team and has won the Premier League six times.

Now playing in the U.S. for the Los Angeles Galaxy, he helped them win last year’s tournament.

By Royal appointment: David is also close to Princes William and Harry

He and wife Victoria, 37, are said to be worth £125million.

Despite limiting his friends, Mr Beckham said in the interview that he still enjoys playing football as much as ever.

He told Men’s Health: 'Even at 36, I’m still running 12 miles a game.

‘But I’ve definitely become more aware on the field. I know what my limits are, what I can achieve, and which passes I can play. I have adapted to my age.'

The most important: David, seen here with wife Victoria and their brood in December, said it's all about family for him
