It may have been miserable and raining in London but that didn't stop Dita Von Teese from stepping out in floor-sweeping attire.

The 39-year-old showed off her curvacious figure in not one but two full-length dresses as she promoted her new fragrance in London.

It seems the dark-haired star has found a style she likes as both gowns featured plunging necklines and never-ending hemlines.

First up Dita dazzled in green as she arrived at Liberty to launch the perfume - which is named after herself.
The teal number clung to all the right places and in true Dita style, she teamed it with vintage curls and bright red lipstick.
After posing with the old-fashioned black bottle that contains her signature scent, the burlesque dancer then spent time next to four smartly-dressed waiters who carried the fragrance on trays.

The pale star then decided that it was time to leave and headed towards her waiting car but as she got into the vehicle, Dita almost had a wardrobe malfunction with the low-cut dress.
Once back in her hotel, Dita made a quick outfit change and emerged from her hotel later in the evening wearing another goddess-looking gown.
Yet again, the wet-look gold dress highlighted her figure perfectly and also featured a short train.
The actress kept her make-up in tact and also carried a gold glittery clutch bag with a chunky bracelet.

She is a burlesque dancer so it should come as no surprise that Dita Von Teese likes to show off her curves as much as possible.

And as she was the guest of honour at Christian Louboutin's Paris premiere of his Crazy Horse cabaret show last night, she ensured she was the belle of the ball.

Dita stepped out in a stunning floorlength silvery grey gown which skimmed the floor for the exclusive bash.

And while she looked demure, the performer stuck with her staple risque style by having a very low cut dress, showing off her ample chest.

The stylish frock was even more revealing with the cut-out detail on each side, baring part of her tiny waist.

The 39-year-old's dark hair was worn down in ringlets, with dramatic dark red lipstick making her stand out even more.

Finishing off the look with a snakeskin clutch bag, Dita's shoes were hidden behind the maxi-dress, although she was no doubt donning her own pair of Louboutin's iconic red soled heels.

The man of the night himself was there to greet Dita on the red carpet, and the pair posed happily for the cameras.

Dressed in a dapper black suit with a white shirt, Christian gave a flash of colour with his loud tie.

She's hired only full-figured girls to appear in her runway show, so Dita Von Teese obviously wouldn't shy away from showing off her own curves in risque lingerie.

The 39-year-old burlesque performer turned fashion designer displayed more than a hint of her black lace bra at a photo call for her new underwear line today in Melbourne, Australia.

She was clearly making a fashion statement by allowing her seductive underwear to be so visible.

As always, the raven haired beauty showed off a style that was both sultry and sophisticated.

Though the black lace garment was overtly sexy, her purple wrap dress was nothing but classy.

She pinned a small bunch of violets onto her lapel for an additional sweet touch and also accessorised with a pair of open toed black lace pumps.

Her make-up was picture perfect as usual, as were her fabulously coiffed ebony locks.

Dita happily posed next to her group of models, whom were all chosen for their curvaceous or full-figured forms.

Prior to appearing at the Von Follies by Dita Von Teese for Target photo call today, she admitted that she had fired several models because they were too skinny.

She told Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper: 'We gave a lot of models the axe for being too skinny - we probably turned away a dozen.

'It's important to me [that] we show curvaceous women and fuller-figured girls... Lingerie looks terrific on girls with shape.'

She also wanted to showcase women with natural skin tones, and took to her Twitter account to reveal that she wanted the models to convey this.

Skinny models were given the 'axe' ahead of Dita Von Teese's debut lingerie launch, it has been revealed.

The 39-year-old designer and burlesque star instead plumped for a team of buxom girls to make the most of her Von Follie range which launched last month.

Proud of her own voluptuous figure, Von Teese has also starred in the underwear campaign promoting key pieces which include sophisticated knickers, stockings, suspenders and bras.

She will also appear on the catwalk this weekend at the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival on behalf of Target Australia, where her brand is currently retailed.

'We gave a lot of models the axe for being too skinny - we probably turned away a dozen,' she told the Herald Sun in Melbourne.

'It's important to me [that] we show curvaceous women and fuller-figured girls... Lingerie looks terrific on girls with shape.'

According to another source, Von Teese also ordered her chosen models to wash off fake tan, and promptly issued a 'no spray tan' policy as she attended rehearsals for the fashion event.

'She was not happy at all,' a source said.

'The models were of course gorgeous but a lot of them were heavily tanned. Not in a 'tandoori' way or anything, just a standard tan, which (Von Teese) stressed was not her look and was not what she wanted to show off the collection.

'You have to remember she is on the runway too, so standing there among among all these bronzed bodies is just not going to work.'
