Last month she received disappointing news after narrowly missing out on $6 million in her court battle against Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry.

However Nicollette Sheridan is consoling herself on a romantic beach break with a new mystery guy.

The actress has been whisked away to the luxurious island of St Barts when she is clearly enjoying lapping up the sun.

The 48-year-old was spotted on vacation with her man, watching waves as they relaxed atop sun loungers.

Sheridan stripped down from an angelic outfit of all-white to reveal a tangerine bikini which barely fit the her.

After removing her linen trousers and off-the shoulder kaftan, her halter neck swimwear was evidently too small.

But that didn’t seem to bother the star as she was more concerned with keeping her eyes on her partner.

As he admired her toned body, the blonde couldn’t help but stroke his skin as they protected themselves from harsh solar rays underneath their umbrella.

At one point she left the company of her flame to have some solo thinking time, she looked pensive sitting on a large rock by the shore.

Nicollette certainly has a lot to ponder.

She has been walking around looking stoney-faced after she needed just one more juror on her side to win her case for wrongful termination.

Judge Elizabeth Allen White declared a mistrial following days of a solidly hung jury, this means that the case will have to be brought to trial again if Nicollette wants to pursue a verdict.
The jury were hung 8-4 in favour of her version of events: that her character Edie Britt was killed because Sheridan complained about series creator Cherry's behaviour towards her.
She claimed that he'd given her a 'wallop' on the head during a rehearsal for a scene in 2008, he contended it was a 'tap' for direction as they worked on her character's responses.

That's more like it: The pair shared a giggle as they headed off the beach, with Nicole seeming to have forgotten her woes
