But on Saturday, as Joanna Krupa and her incredibly toned body gallivanted about a Miami beach with her fiance Romain Zago, the loved-up pooch seemed to be well and truly theirs to keep.
The 34-year-old Polish model and Romain spent the day taking turns smooching each other and the tiny pup named Darla.

Romain, who is the owner of Miami's famed Mynt Lounge, appeared equally smitten with their new furry friend.
It looked as though he couldn't decide who he was more enamoured with, as he leaned in to hug his stunning fiancee of six years, but smooched the pup instead.
But as the pair departed the sunny beach, Joanna did get plenty of affection of her own from her hunky fiance.

The bronzed couple looked picturesque as they strolled along the beach with their lips locked and the tiny pup trotting by their side.
The on/off couple briefly split in November but now plan to wed on season three of Real Housewives Of Miami.
'It will either be this season or – if we don’t have enough time to plan it all – it will be part of something else,' Krupa told Wetpaint.
