Kristen Stewart looked the epitome of gothic glamour on the red carpet for the world premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman - at least until you looked at her feet.

Never a fan of high heels, the 22-year-old was caught switching her comfy Nike trainers for more suitable footwear, while trying to hide behind a bush.

The stunning actress looked both amused and slightly embarrassed when she realised she'd been busted.

The episode recalled the UK premiere of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part One, where the dark-haired starlet ditched her peep-toes for trainers as she signed autographs for fans.

The same beloved shoes made it to the film's world premiere in Los Angeles, where they drew gasps of horror from the fashion pack.

Despite her slight wardrobe malfunction, though, Kristen's finished look was perfectly in keeping with the Snow White theme: She kept her skin as white as snow and eye make-up smoky, while showing off her legs in a black lace gown from Marchesa's Fall 2012 collection.

A skeleton design on the arms, decollétage and back of the dress added to the dark fantasy element.

Kristen's co-star Charlize Theron, 36, looked a vision in sheer Christian Dior Couture, with her golden hair swept up in a bun.

The statuesque star showed off her endless legs in the dramatic tulle number, and set it off with a jade-coloured bracelet, ring and earrings.

Glamourpuss Charlize plays evil stepmother Queen Ravenna in Snow White and the Huntsman, but seems to have a soft spot for Kristen in real life.

The pair were pictured warmly embracing on the press line, and grinned as they whispered to each other.
Kristen teasingly admitted in an interview with the French media: 'I want to make out with Charlize' and bizarrely added 'I want to wear boxer briefs.'
The film's male stars also looked slick as they arrived in London's Leicester Square, which had been transformed into an enchanted forest.
Chris Hemsworth, who plays the Huntsman in the big-budget movie, donned a grey suit and open-neck black shirt for the occasion.

It's been a busy week for the Australian actor, who became a father last Friday when his wife Elsa Pataky gave birth to a daughter named India.

He was snapped greeting Charlize with a huge bear-hug, as she laughed and their legions of waiting fans took pictures.

Once you've seen one private plane, you've seen them all!

Or at least perhaps that what Kristen Stewart thought when she tried to board Snow White And The Huntsman co-star Charlize Theron's jet.

The women were both in Paris to promote their new film, before both flying on to London in their respective private planes.

After already jetting from New York to the French capital just 24 hours earlier, Stewart could have been forgiven for feeling a bit jet-lagged when she arrived at the airport.
Wearing her headphones to her MP3 player, the 22-year-old was in her own world as she climbed the steps up to Theron's plane.
But before she could get settled, one of the flight attendants informed her she was on the wrong plane.

Earlier this week, Stewart admitted she felt like a 'spare part' when she hung out with Katy Perry at the Coachella Festival last month.

'Suddenly I was like, "What are you doing to me? Ah!" We were like Moses parting the waves of Coachella getting to the front.

But the Twilight star's outfit told a rather different story as she was spotted at Coachella over the weekend with boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

Despite her best efforts to bury her face from the lens every time it comes within a whisper of her, the 22-year-old didn't seem too coy when it came to showing off her supermodel statistics.

If you thought you knew Kristen Stewart, think again.

The actress goes topless while sitting in a car next to a similarly clothes free Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley in the trailer for her new film, On The Road.

It's an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's 1951 novel, which is considered to be the seminal book of the Beat Generation.

Dean (Hedlund) and Sal (Riley) are two friends looking for thrills on road trips across America, from New York to the West Coast and then back again.

The film’s outstanding ensemble cast also includes Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, Steve Buscemi, Terrence Howard and Elisabeth Moss.

The Walter Salles-directed film will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival later this year.

Kristen has just returned from Paris Fashion Week, where she was joined by her boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

Stewart has Snow White and the Huntsman and On The Road coming out, while Pattinson is promoting Bel Ami and Cosmopolis.

They will be back on the promotional trail together this autumn when the final Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released.

As with everything, all good things must come to an end as the couple were spotted jetting out of the French capital today as they prepare to head back to work.

The pair were dressed in their usual casual style as they walked through Roissy Airport.

It may have 'Snow White' in the title, but the new Kristen Stewart film version of the fairytale is clearly a far cry from the classic Disney cartoon version so beloved by fans.

A new film still from Snow White and the Huntsman shows Stewart and co-star Chris Hemsworth in a dramatic pose where it looks like they are hiding from danger.

Stewart is wearing a long gown and her hair is long and dyed a shade darker than her usual mid-brown.

Hemsworth, meanwhile, wears what looks like battle dress and clutches on to both Stewart and his axe in the shot, which is the latest teaser to be released ahead of the film's release later this year.

The grown-up version of the children's story boasts Stewart in the title role, with Hemsworth as the huntsman and Charlize Theron as a malevolent evil queen.

She is thwarted somewhat, when Snow White escapes into the Dark Forest.

To capture her the Queen recruits a Huntsman, Eric (Hemsworth), to capture Snow White.

However, the Huntsman takes pity on the girl and instead of killing her, takes her under his wing, and with his help Snow White begins to learn the art of war.

She starts a rebellion to bring down the evil queen, with the help of dwarves and Prince William (Sam Claflin), who is also in love with her.

The dramatic trailer for the film opens with a chilling speech from Theron, who utters in a (convincing) English accent: 'Do you hear that? It's the sound of battles fought, and lives lost. It once pained me to know that I am the cause of such despair. But now their cries give me strength.'

'Beauty is my power,' she adds, before the scene cuts to her 'sucking' the life from a hapless girl before throwing her mercilessly to the ground.

The magic mirror morphs into a cloaked human shape to answer his mistress's question: 'Mirror mirror on the wall, who is fairest of them all?'

To no-one's surprise but the queen, he replies: 'You are the fairest, but there is another destined to surpass you. Consume her heart, and you shall live forever,'

Outraged, the queen orders her minions: 'Find me someone who doesn't fear the dark forest to hunt her down.'

Hemsworth's huntsman is threatened with death unless he captures and kills Snow White.

Despite revealing she was not initially attracted to the role of Snow White, Stewart recently let slip a few more details about her character.

'It’s an enormous burden and she’s so stunted. She was put away when she was seven years old and her mother and father were killed basically right in front of her and we’re not doing the version of a fairytale where you just sort of skim over those things.

The 21-year-old star at times looked pale and exhausted while being spotted filming scenes for the movie in the UK last year.

She was seen riding on a horse while filming several scenes in a rain soaked Wales, and filming by a river in a brown tunic and matching boots.

With her long hair soaking wet, she rode alongside Hemworth, who certainly looked the part in grubby shirt and trousers, chunky knee-high boots and hair pulled back into a ponytail.

The poster for the film is no less dramatic, featuring Stewart, Theron and Hemsworth in a three-way banner.

Theron's villainous Evil Snow Queen is pictured armed with a hefty blade.

Wearing a high-collared cape, ravens ominously circle around her.

Meanwhile, The Huntsman emerges from the tree branches wood wielding an axe, edging dangerously close to Stewart in the middle.
