He stars alongside World Wrestling Entertainment’s buff Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in his upcoming movie Pain and Gain.

But Mark Wahlberg has no problem with walking around on the same set as the sportsman showing off a muscular form of his own.

The rapper-turned-actor’s body would have looked enviable to anyone who laid eyes on him as he took a stroll by his trailer yesterday.

The 40-year-old took the opportunity to lap up some sun in the South Beach area as he listened to music on headphones and despite his fetching get-up, all eyes were on his huge chest.

The toned star showed off his fit in a pair of salmon pink long shorts which reached below his knees as well as sandals and white socks.

Wahlberg pairs up with Johnson for the flick about a couple of bodybuilders in Florida who get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong.

Later on in the day Mark – who plays Daniel Lugo - could be seen in front of the camera for a car scene in the motion picture directed by Michael Bay of Transformers fame.

Although this time he was covered up in black T-shirt he still managed to look attractive as he sat in the monochrome convertible car.

The father-of-four donned a shorter pair of shorts the same day as he spent time with co-star Rob Corddry, showing off his large arms once again in the Miami heat as his colleague layered up with a stripy shirt.

Coddry – who portrays John Meese in the film – seemed to be in serious conversation with his associate.

Not just a pretty face: Mark could also be seen looking suave and putting his acting skills into practice as he filmed scene in a convertible car

Last month the Contraband star irritated plenty of film fans after saying he knew who would win what at the Oscars before divulging insider information.

He claimed that he had a friend at PricewaterhouseCoopers with inside Knowledge about the awards.

'It's not a matter of who I want to win, it's who I know is going to win,' Wahlberg told the Huffington Post UK. 'Because I've got a friend at PriceWaterhouse.'
