Yesterday he was seen helping an elderly nun cross the street after attending a Sunday church service.

But Mark Wahlberg’s behaviour was far from saintly today.

The actor plays a steroid-abusing bodybuilder in his upcoming movie Pain and Gain, which he has been filming for the last month.

So it was unclear why he was getting to grips with some unusual props on set today.

The star was seen leaving a sex shop carrying some items as he filmed scenes in Miami, Florida.

The 40-year-old looked amused and had a cheeky smile on his face as he walked out of the store clutching his purchases.

He was dressed in a short sleeved green shirt, tucked into blue denim shorts.

The actor also wore a tie and high-top trainers.

Before he had started filming the scenes Mark looked a little more rugged as he left his shirt untucked and unbuttoned, and wore his tie loose.

Later in the day, Mark and his co-star Anthony Mackie took a break from their busy shooting schedule to enjoy a spot of golf.

The pair were seen whizzing around in a golf buggy, and Mark seemed to be a big fan of the sport as he was dressed in full golfing attire.

Pain and Gain stars Mark and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as 'a couple of Florida steroid-abusing knucklehead bodybuilders who become criminals involved in an extortion ring and a kidnapping plot that goes horribly awry'.

The comedy, directed by Michael Bay, also stars Ed Harris, Ken Jeong, and Tony Shalhoub and is based on a real-life events.
