The 19-year-old surprised his mother Pattie Mallette with an on-stage serenade to his tune  One Less Lonely Girl.

'Happy Mother's Day @pattiemallette. Today u r my #OLLG. Love u,' he tweeted after the show, referencing the title of his popular song -- which he usually performs with a lucky fan from the audience.

He also shared a snap of the precious moment in which he handed his single mother a bouquet of roses and clutched her tightly.

'So yep.. @justinbieber surprised me for mother's day tonight & brought me out for OLLG! #verysweet,' the single mother wrote on her Twitter account.

And while he was busy serenading his mother, his are-they-aren't-they lover Selena Gomez finally put the nail in the coffin on their relationship.

The former Disney star confirmed she was 'absolutely available in every way' in an interview with Boston Kiss 108 on Friday.

Justin Bieber attacked by male fan who storms onstage and grabs him midway through Dubai concert

A crazed fan stormed onstage and grabbed singer Justin Bieber from behind on Sunday in Dubai during the middle of a piano performance.

The 19-year-old Canadian pop star was performing one of his last songs, Believe, when a youth in a white shirt and jeans blindsided the unsuspecting singer.

Bieber managed to free himself and dashed to the side of the stage.

Security guards rushed the stage and lunged at the attacker, according to a report in Dubai English language newspaper The National.

The stage stormer pushed the piano off its hinges and it fell damaged to the stage.

A video posted by a fan online showed security guards rushing around the stage as the piano lay upturned.

An accompanying tweet said: 'Whoa. Crazy fan tackled @justinbieber and knocked the piano down the stage. Mayhem.'

According to reports, Bieber was rattled, but he and his eight-piece band finished the song while the offender was taken off the stage.

After a three-minute break, Bieber returned for an encore and finished the concert with Boyfriend and the finale Baby.

Bieber also performed on Saturday in Dubai as part of his international Believe Tour and pulled a song out of respect for the country's Muslim culture.

Bieber skipped the song One Less Lonely Girl because the state religion of Islam frowns upon men touching women who are not their relatives.

The singer typically recruits a young female fan to join him during the song to flirt with onstage.

The respectful move followed another thoughtful incident on his international Believe Tour that occurred recently in Turkey.

The Boyfriend singer paused his show multiple times on Thursday to allow fans to step away for the Muslim call to prayer.

The star's tour, however, hasn't been without its rough spots.

A show in Oman reportedly was cancelled because the nation deemed his act 'too sexy.'

The teen pop idol also drew ire for travelling with a Capuchin monkey named Mally that was confiscated by customs officials in Munich, Germany.

Justin also skulked around London in March with his shirt off and had to be restrained by a member of his entourage when he appeared to lash out at a photographer.

He also drew heat in some corners in April for writing in the guest book at the Anne Frank Museum: 'Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.'

Some believed the singer's remark was tasteless and disrespectful, though museum officials defended his sincerity.

Bieber was spotted letting loose in Dubai on Friday as he emerged from a nightclub dressed in black and ended up jumping on the roof of a white Range Rover.

Justin has been touring in support of his Believe album released last June. 

Following his visit to Dubai and concerts in South Africa, the tour will resume in June with shows in the United States.

In an odd coincidence, Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars, 62, was knocked over on Saturday night by an overzealous fan and was hauled off by security, according to a report by TMZ.

The band was performing the song Primal Scream at the Spectra Place in Canada when the man bolted across the stage, bowled Mars over and made a run at lead singer Vince Neil.

The band stopped to make sure that Mars, who was celebrating his birthday on Saturday, was not hurt before resuming the show.

Fans' fury over 'toerag' Bieber: Dubai concertgoers left fuming after star leaves them waiting for two hours in 30C heat

Justin Bieber fans were distraught when the pop star kept them waiting for two hours in humid 86F (30C) heat.

When he finally took to the stage in Dubai at 10pm on Saturday he performed only one song before disappearing for a break.

By the time he returned, many of the 15,000-strong audience, who had paid up to £175 for tickets, were leaving because Sunday is a school day in the United Arab Emirates.

After leaving crowds waiting in 30C heat, Bieber performed just one song before leaving the stage for a break and costume change

Some had travelled miles to get there as the concert venue is in the middle of the desert on the outskirts of Dubai.

Parents and fans vented their anger on Twitter. One mother said: ‘What a toerag.’

Another mother-of-two, Eileen Wallis, said: 'You really can’t keep thousands - including a significant percentage of kids - waiting for two hours on a school night. Not cool. 

'He is a polished performer but after 30 years of concert-going, this is the first time an artist leaves the stage after just one song.'

Chris Birks tweeted: 'It’s a school night here Justin, have some respect…your fans have been waiting over four hours.' 

In his first show in the Middle East, he opened at 10pm with All Around the World - then disappeared while a DJ took over.

By the time he reappeared in a different outfit, fed-up parents were already leaving in droves.

As Sunday is a schoolday in the United Arab Emirates, many parents took their children home at 10.30pm

The popstar's performance was later interrupted when a male member of the audience tackled Bieber and tipped over a piano after climbing onto the stage.

But he managed to finish the song as security took the man away, and returned to perform the gig finale after a three-minute break. 

It is not the first time that the 19-year-old Canadian has come under fire for treating his fans badly. 

In March, he was two hours late  for a performance at London’s O2 arena. Many of the youngsters had  to leave before he even appeared on stage and others missed their last trains home.

And while on tour in the Netherlands he caused upset when he claimed Anne Frank would have been a ‘Belieber’ if she had been alive as a teenager today.

Clearly being a platinum selling pop star with over 21 million Twitter followers isn't enough for the young Canadian.

The Boyfriend singer was the first person to congratulate Floyd Mayweather Jr as the pint sized boxer defeated Miguel Cotto, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas.

Justin was Floyd's guest of honour at the big fight, even though other notable stars included rappers 50 Cent and Lil Wayne.
The unlikely friendship between Bieber and Mayweather has become so close that the 18-year-old was given unrivalled access to the undefeated boxer.
The pop star joined Floyd in the dressing room before the fight and was given great seats after escorting the champ into the ring.

Floyd said: '@justinbieber keep up the great work and thanks for the support #TheMoneyTeam. Enjoy the fight.'

Bieber was dressed all in black and wore a leather jacket with a matching T-shirt and jeans and a large gold pendant.

Floyd added the WBA Super World light-middleweight title to his supreme career roster with a battling unanimous points victory over Cotto.

After the victory Bieber jumped straight back into the ring to congratulate and celebrate with his pal and the other music stars.
50 Cent didn't waste his opportunity in front of the cameras to advertise his new SMS headphones and wore a baseball cap with the company's name on.

Justin Bieber has been making do with a lookalike Selena Gomez on the set of his latest video in LA, but today he was reunited with the real thing... and he couldn't have been happier.

The 18-year-old has been seen smooching a brunette who looks almost identical to the Disney star for the short film which accompanies his new single, Boyfriend.

She's clearly supposed to represent the Canadian superstar's 20-year-old partner, thankfully the youngsters are wise enough not to to follow J-Lo down the path of flaunting real-life relationships in music videos.

However, Bieber couldn't keep his hands off his the genuine article when she joined him on set today.

In the new song, the teenager sings about wanting to be the perfect boyfriend, if the girl he has feelings for will just give him a chance.

He's clearly that passionate about fellow performer Gomez, hence the model chosen for the shoot being in her image.

The astonishing images were taken by Tony Kelly, a Dublin born photographer who has shot high fashion spreads for the likes of British GQ, Tatler and Vanity Fair.
After previously covering conflict in war torn countries, including Rwanda and Afghanistan, Kelly has become one of the most sought after snappers in the fashion industry, working in the field for eight years.

They may be in different locations for their respective work but Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are doing their best to keep the romance in their relationship alive.

Selena, 19, who is currently filming her latest movie Spring Breakers in Florida, recently jetted back to Los Angeles for a night to help her beau ring in his 18th birthday.

And now Justin has returned the favour and travelled to St Petersburg to spend some quality time with his squeeze.

The couple spent the weekend on a fishing trip with their families, but seemed to be relishing some alone time today.

As Selena had the morning off filming this morning, Justin was seen visiting his girlfriend in her trailer.

He emerged 40 minutes later looking slightly sheepish as he covered up with an umbrella.

Selena was dressed casually in a navy baggy jumper, daisy dukes and a pair of grey slipper boots to hang out with her beau, who wore a varsity style jacket, camouflage trousers and a black knitted beanie hat.

She shielded her eyes from the sun’s rays with a pair of psychedelic sunglasses that had blue lenses and green arms.

Her co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson were also wearing barely there outfits when they were spotted taking a lunch break on set.
