Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is to make her design debut with an exclusive collection of lingerie for Marks & Spencer, it was announced today.

Called Rosie For Autograph, the Twenties-inspired line will form part of the successful Autograph range and will launch into store in September.

Rosie said today that she was 'excited' to be working with Marks & Spencer on the range.

'M&S is an iconic British brand, adored by many, so I'm very excited to be launching my debut lingerie line with them,' she said.

Pretty: The Rosie For Autograph collection, to be released in September, will have a subtle, muted palette and a Twenties feel
'I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the design team to create my dream collection, and I'm looking forward to a fun and creative time ahead.'
M&S said they were delighted to have 25-year-old Rosie, who has been one of the stars of the store's campaigns for the past two seasons, work with them from the design side.
Kate Bostock, Executive Director of Clothing for M&S said: 'We are so pleased to have Rosie on board to design her first collection for us,' she said. She really understands beautiful lingerie and what works on the body.
'With all her modelling experience she has great eye for colour and style which, coupled with our extensive knowledge in lingerie design and technique, is a winning formula that we can’t wait to share with our customers.'

Golden girl: Rosie, who has been working as a model with M&S for the past two seasons, recently starred with Ryan Reynolds in the successful television campaign for Autograph
The Rosie for Autograph collection is set to be a pretty boudoir collection of 33 pieces, including luxurious silk lingerie sets, camisole and French knicker sets, a teddy and a kimono robe.
Prints come in the form of pretty roses in soft tones of pink and shell, and 'deco-inspired' detailing is drawn from Twenties glamour.
It is yet another coup for M&S, who just last week hit the headlines when the choice pieces from the newly launched clothing collection designed by Twiggy sold out almost immediately.

Inspiration: Rosie says she drew on her wealth of experience as a lingerie model - she has walked the runway for Victoria's Secret - to help her design the range
And now the Autograph collection, widely regarded as the fashion-forward jewel in the crown of the high street store, will no doubt benefit further from this collaboration.
Steven Sharp, Executive Marketing Director for M&S is predicting the collection will be a hit.
'Following the resounding success of the Autograph advertising campaign [starring Rosie and Ryan Reynolds] we see this collection as a natural progression of our relationship with Rosie,' he said.
'Her designs completely embody the essence of Autograph and I am sure her collection will be extremely popular.'

Finely honed: Rosie's sensational figure is the result of excellent genes.. and regular training sessions at top London gym Bodyism, where she attends sessions with trainer James Duigan (Twitter @jamesduigan)

She has seen her career as a model go from strength to strength over the past few years.

And now, the hard work has paid off for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as it is revealed she has made it onto the Sunday Times Rich List in the under 30s category with a fortune of £5m.

The 25-year-old model, who recently made the move to Los Angeles, started out on the Victoria's Secret runway in 2006, before she was drafted in by Burberry's Christopher Bailey to replace Agyness Deyn for the label's spring/summer 2008 campaign.

Her face is her fortune: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has landed on the Sunday Times Rich List ranked 9th with Jessie J and Sara Harding

Since then, the Plymouth-born model's star has continued its upwards trajectory, seeing Rosie signed up as the face of Marks & Spencer's Autograph collection, further campaigns for Burberry including its multimedia fragrance campaign for Burberry Body.

There have been stints on the runway at Prada and Giles, and countless magazine covers including Vogue, LOVE, GQ and Harper's Bazaar.

She also made her acting debut, with a role playing Carly Spencer in the 2011 film Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, taking over from Megan Fox as the female lead after making an impact on the movie's director Michael Bay when they shot a Victoria's Secret advertisment together.

Mass appeal: Rosie was voted top style icon at the Elle Style Awards earlier this year

And earlier this year, she was named number one style icon at the Elle Style Awards.

Indeed, such is Rosie's appeal that photographer Rankin devoted a book to the model named Ten Times Rosie.

He said that she had 'put the diversity back into fashion': 'We’ve been looking at very, very skinny, almost masculine girls for a long time. She really is the model of the moment. She’s the actress of the moment. She’s definitely going to become something much, much bigger.'

Film star: Rosie played Carly Spencer in the third Transformers film, Dark Of The Moon, in 2011

Rosie is ranked 9th in the list, on equal footing with 24-year-old singer and judge on BBC show The Voice Jessie J and Girls Aloud's Sara Harding.

She joins fellow models Devon-born Lily Cole, worth £8m, and Russian-born, UK-based Natalia Vodianova, worth a cool £16m, on the list.
