Friends of The Saturdays singer Mollie King insist she and Prince Harry are casually dating, even though the pair have declined to comment on rumours of their budding romance.

Now I can report that the couple have met on at least two occasions at Public nightclub in Chelsea where they danced the night away with the Prince’s pal Guy Pelly.

Mollie, right, first met Harry at an Asprey polo match in 2010 where they were introduced through a mutual friend, but they have resumed contact only recently.

When they met, the 27-year-old Prince was dating his on-off Zimbabwean girlfriend Chelsy Davy while Mollie, 24, fell for Dolce & Gabbana model David Gandy, with whom she went on to have a 10 month relationship.

I revealed they had split earlier this year, and two weeks ago Mollie was with the Prince at karaoke bar Bunga Bunga.

'They have been to Public nightclub a couple of times and get along well,' says my source. 'It's ironic because Mollie fell for David over Prince Harry, but now she seems very taken with Harry.

'They’re having a lovely time together but she won’t say anything publicly because she knows that will mean the end of it.

'She loves the publicity so she is happy to drop a few hints and keep people guessing.'

The other week Mollie tweeted to her half a million followers that she had fallen in love with Harry, the baby African hippo that has become an internet sensation and is named after the Prince.

Kate's folks call time on local

Carole and Michael Middleton’s days of heading down to their local watering hole are sadly over.

Kate’s parents, who used to enjoy a quiet gin and tonic at the Queen’s Head in Chapel Row, Berkshire, have been put off visiting their local after a map was posted on the internet highlighting their favourite haunts.

'Tourists have been flocking to the area hoping to share a pint with them,’ says a local.

'A lot of American tourists, particularly, are desperate to catch a glimpse of one of the Middletons and they stake out the local pubs.’

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents have already been besieged by fans turning up at the door of their home bearing gifts and fan mail for the Duchess and her sister Pippa.
