Glamour model trains 16-year-old daughter to follow in her footsteps

Most parents would be delighted if their child chose to follow them into the same professions.

But when you are a glamour model, you would have thought that things would be a little different.

Not for Annette Edwards, though. She is so keen for her 16-year-old daughter, Paige, to strip off, she has posed for provocative photos alongside her.

g a glamour model is a brilliant career. And it is the path Paige has apparently wanted to follow since she was just 10 years old.

Paige posed for her first photos in skimpy dresses at 14. Now her mother helps her practice for topless shoots at home - and offers to pose alongside her in the hope of reviving her own career.

Paige has earned £2,000 from her modelling, but her mother spends £400 a month on lingerie, fake tan, manicures, heels and lessons to help her daughter to learn how to pose provocatively.

They have also both agreed that the teenager should have a breast augmentation when she turns 18 if her 32C boobs have not grown.

Annette had £18,000 of surgery to help further her career – including a face lift, cheek and chin implants, Botox and a boob job to go from a 36D to 36DD.

Annette, from Worcester, who also began modelling at 16, is really proud of her daughter and argues: 'She’s not too young or vulnerable as long as I’m with her. Girls in clubs wearing next to nothing are in more danger.'

The supportive mother adds: 'There’s nothing wrong with glamour modelling, as long as it’s tasteful, like Page Three and Playboy. It makes you feel sexy and powerful – and Paige is a natural.'

Paige really appreciates her mothers help.

She says: 'Mum’s an inspiration – I’ve always wanted to be a glamour model. I enjoy the compliments and being in front of the camera. When I’m 18, I’ll go topless – the money’s good.'

But it is not all good news for Annette, Paige adds: 'I’m not sure I’ll go topless with Mum, it might be embarrassing.'

Annette was brought up be her grandmother who supported her decision to be a glamour model.

But when she married at 18 she thought she had put that part of her life behind her.

After Paige, her youngest child, was born, tough, she returned to modelling - and even posed for Playboy when she was 45.

Paige had her first professional shoot when she was 14 and has since done lingerie shots to build up her portfolio.

Annette strongly defends her daughter's chosen profession, saying: 'Glamour modelling's a great career.'

She argues that it is similar to people going topless on a beach and that all the shoots are tasteful.

Men are not an issue either. Paige has been trusted to handle herself, and she is 'too sensible' to have even been given the sex talk by her mother.

But the teenager has left school - on her mum's advice - after getting four GCSEs. She was thinking about going to college, as a 'back-up' but was encouraged to get into modelling while she was still young.

Some of Annette's friends disapprove, but as long as she is happy with her decision - which she clearly is - it doesn't bother her.

One can only hope that she does not change her mind in a few years' time.
