Khloe and Rob Kardashian spend a day bonding by doing all things Texan in the Lone Star State

With her husband having been traded from the legendary L.A Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, she is almost 1,500 miles from her family.

So it's no surprise that Khloe Kardashian flew her younger brother across to stay with her for a few days as she settles in to her new surroundings.

The 27-year-old decided to give Rob Kardashian, 24, a true taste of Texan life as the pair spent a day doing some brother and sister bonding.

Khloe took Rob to Fort Worth, which is also known as Cowtown, for what she described as a day of: 'good old fashioned Texas fun!'

The pair started the day with a hearty lunch of buffalo burgers and fries at Riscky's Barbeque.

The siblings also donned traditional cowboy hats for the meal and pulled some comedy poses as they ate at the famous local restaurant.

Khloe was happy to have her brother around as her husband, Lamar Odum, has been busy training with his new team.
She said: 'Lamar has been working so much so I haven’t been doing all of the fun activities that I would normally do with him in a new city, so when Rob came to town I took full advantage!'
The siblings may have not been dressed like fully fledged cowboys but they still looked like urban rodeo stars in their outfits.

Rob wore a checked shirt with jeans and rocked a blue baseball cap supporting his hometown of Los Angeles.

His sister opted for a black leather jacket with black slim fit trousers and a matching Stetson

She wrote on her blog: 'We explored the town, had a yummy meal, checked out the petting zoo, rode the mechanical bull and my personal favorite… horseback riding!'

Khloe proved that you can take the girl out of L.A but you cant take L.A out of the girl as she fed the goats while rocking a black Chanel handbag.
Later on in the day the pair went horse riding and the youngest Kardashian sister showed off her saddle skills.
The model may be a dab hand at horse riding but her little brother isn't as confident as she is.

She said: 'I personally have ridden horses all my life — it’s one of my first loves and I don’t get to do it as often as I’d like to, so I was beyond excited to ride.
'Rob on the other hand doesn’t have much experience with horses so he was really nervous and fell off LOL. He was fine though, don’t worry!'
While she enjoyed a relaxing day with Rob, her everyday life has been rocked lately with claims made in the National Enquirer that her biological father is jailed former sportsman O.J. Simpson.

Kris Jenner brushed off the allegations on her Twitter page posting: 'Thanks for all your love and support today dolls! Wow some of the stories out there today are either fabricated, or SO 24 years ago!! LOVE U.'
Khloe kept quiet on the rumours but thanked many of her followers who posted her nice messages.
While she refrained from commenting on the controversy she did deny reports from Tuesday that said she was seeking fertility treatment.

She posted: 'Because there seems to be much speculation, here is my statement... I am not at this time in my life considering any type of fertility treatments. If and when I do, I will shout it from the rooftops but for now its in Gods hands.'
Meanwhile, back in Calabasas, California, Kendall Jenner did some bonding of her own.
The teen model and step-sister to Rob and Khloe spent yesterday afternoon hanging out and shopping at the family store, Dash, with her dog Louis.
The brown puppy was treated like a celebrity in the store as Kendall carried him in and out of the shop and paid him lots of attention as she shopped.
