James Corden pays tribute to Peter Sellers as Georgia May Jagger channels Britt Ekland in new magazine shoot

They are both British comedians who have made a name for themselves as hilarious funnymen.

And now James Corden has paid tribute to Peter Sellers by posing by with Georgia May Jagger, who channels the comedian's second wife Britt Ekland, in a new shoot for Harper's Bazaar magazine.

The former Gavin And Stacey star is seen reclining on a chair wearing a pair of black-rimmed glasses similar to the ones sported by Sellers, as Jagger cuddles him from behind, looking sexy in a sixties-inspired cream patterned dress.

In the accompanying interview, James, who has achieved huge success of late with his run in West End play One Man, Two Guvnors, said he always admired Sellers for his ability to laugh some of the most attractive women into the bedroom.

He said: 'I worked out pretty early on that if you look like I do then you sure as shit had better make the girls laugh if you wanted to get anywhere.

'It was not just that Sellers made women laugh, but his confidence that is very attractive to be around. He oozed effortless charm. He was wildly charismatic.'

Corden looks slim in the shoot for Harper's Bazaar UK, donning a form-fitting suit by Savile Row tailors Spencer Hart, after losing a staggering five stone in recent months.

The 33-year-old actor is believed to have gone from 21 stone to 16 stone, and is thought to be aiming to shed another 21lbs before hitting New York with his critically-acclaimed production.

A source said: 'James is the lightest he has been since he was a child - 16 stone. As well as hiring a personal trainer, James cut out his favourite snack – cheesy Quavers – and stopped eating late at night.

'He’s not doing anything faddy but is simply trying to eat more healthily. The plan is to lose another stone-and-a-half by April, when the show kicks off in New York.'

It has been claimed that becoming a father to son Max with fiancée Julia Carey was the first thing that spurred James on to lose weight.

However, James has since taken to his Twitter page to tell fans that he isn't as slim as some people may think he is.

He tweeted: 'Lots of people saying they've seen me looking 'slim' in pics!I fear they'll be dissapointed in the flesh!!
