Rachel Crow, one of Cowell's first X Factor US proteges, has landed two major deals at the same time.
The 14-year-old singer has been signed by Columbia Records in partnership with Simon's own company, Syco.

The Colorado native said in a statement today: 'It's such an honour to be signed to Columbia Records.
'To think that I am signed to the same label as my idols is a dream come true.
'I can't wait to get in the studio and start making music.'
She added of her network deal: 'And I am so excited to now be a part of the Nickelodeon family.
'I grew up watching Nick, and I'm a huge fan.'
She even tweeted the news today, writing:
'@NickelodeonTV thank you so much I'm so excited.'
