Smitten Michelle Heaton gets tattoo tribute to newborn daughter Faith

She's a new mother smitten with her little girl.

And yesterday Michelle Heaton decided to pay tribute to her firstborn, daughter Faith, with a tattoo on her wrist.

Former Liberty X singer Michelle posted a picture of the inking, which features Faith's name with red hearts scattered around it, on her Twitter page.

She accompanied the shot with the caption: 'My tattoo after ... Love it xxxx but ouch!!'

The new tattoo, on Michelle's left wrist, is situated just below a butterfly which features her husband Hugh Hanley's Christian name.

Michelle gave birth to daughter Faith on 12th January, with the news announced on Twitter by her husband Hugh.

The Irish businessman tweeted at the time: 'My beautiful wife @wonderwomanshel gave birth to our gorgeous baby girl 'Faith Michelle Hanley' yesterday morning. Circle of life is amazing.'

Michelle later took to her own Twitter page and wrote: 'Thank u everyone for your kind wishes.

'Faith is even more amazing then I ever imagined. We r truly blessed.... #happiestmumever (sic).'

And despite being less than a month old, little Faith has already met her fair share of famous faces.

Michelle's Atomic Kitten pal Liz McLarnon tweeted that she had visited the baby, writing: 'I'm pleased to say, little Faith Hanley is PERFECT! We pounced on her today at just 1 day old. So proud of @wonderwomanshel ... You did GOOD.'

And Katie Price also confirmed that she is Faith's godmother on her Twitter page.

She wrote: 'I'm sooooo happy and over the moon that @wonderwomanshel and @hughhanley have asked me to be a god mother to there (sic) baby woo forever friends.'
