A young couple in love are usually oblivious to the world around them and only have eyes for each other.

Including Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend who indulged in a very public display of affection while out and about in Paris today.

And being in the city of love, they needed no promoting to show their feelings towards each other as they kissed and snuggled up together.

The two young actors looked very much in love as they cuddled in close to each other as they went sightseeing around the French capital.

Taking a moment outside the Sacré-Cœur Basilica church, they leaned in close with Austin, 20, wrapping his arm tightly around his 23-year-old lady.

And they went unnoticed and unrecognised by those around them as they took in the sights - and each other.

Vanessa's lovely new bob haircut was also clear to see a few hours after she chopped off her long dark locks for the sleeker look.

And being not only the city of love but one of the fashion capitals of the world, she looked very chic in her black leggings, knee-high suede boots, Chanel handbag and her grey 1920s-style headband, which was decorated with four grey flowers.

Vanessa arrived in the city earlier this week to promote and attend the French premiere of her latest film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

She was seen hitting the exclusive boutiques in the city earlier in the day, before she was joined by Austin, who she has been dating since last September.

Her spree came just a few hours after she went for the chop and she debuted her more grown-up new look as she arrived at a Chanel shop.

But this is not the first time she has gone shorter- she cut off her hair last year to play a homeless pregnant teenager in Gimme Shelter.

And let's hope she likes it better this time round because when she had it cut last year, she said she was unsure about her new look.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, she said: 'It's really intense. I'm still getting used to it. I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we're going to let that go.'
