As he is shooting an all-action movie, it is hardly a surprise that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would need a stunt double.
But while the man in question may fit The Rock’s muscular build, 6ft 5in height and smattering of facial stubble, there was one very noticeable difference between the pair.
The stunt double was dressed in entirely the same outfit as The Rock, 39, however with a jacket in a different shade.
The Rock’s blazer was a powdery blue in colour, while his stunt double sported the same style jacket but in a distinct sky blue hue.
Despite the mishap of the wardrobe department, the pair nevertheless looked like doppelgangers as they stood side by side on the Pain and Gain set in Miami.
The rest of their outfits consisted of white tank tops, cream linen trousers and gold statement necklaces with large cross pendants, as well as white tennis shoes.
They also each appeared to be sporting fluorescent green dye across their chests as they laughed together between takes.
It was no wonder The Rock’s stuntman was on hand for the day as he was required to film a scene that saw him carrying bags as he ran through exploding glass.
Yesterday the wrestler turned actor was seen sporting the same outfit as he stole a women’s handbag and ran off with it for the role.
The film, which The Rock stars in alongside Mark Wahlberg, is based on real-life Miami Beach bodybuilders who started a kidnapping and extortion ring in the 1990s.
Two members of the real-life Sun Gym Gang ended up receiving death sentences and currently sit on Florida's death row.
Ed Harris, Ken Jeong, and Tony Shalhoub also star in the Michael Bay-helmed picture about the steroid-abusing strongmen.
