It looks like Vanessa Hudgens was in the mood to channel her inner hippy at Coachella on Sunday.

The actress swapper Disney-inspired Native American look from yesterday to turn herself into a a flower power fairy.

The High School Musical star went back to her roots when she appeared as the Peter Pan character, complete with face paint.

And she went back in time again today, this time wearing flowers in her hair and going barefoot as she brought the 1960s peace movement to life.

The 23-year-old's outfit surely won the approval of her younger squeeze Austin Butler, who is a whopping three years younger.

But she was not just interested in going to the wildly popular festival so she could look cool.

For she was spotted dancing away in her outfit as she took in some of the days acts, which included the likes of Dr Dre, At the Drive In and the wonderfully named Alf Alpha.

She was certainly putting on a show for everyone in the audience as she busted some moves

But she seemed to have got to enthusiastic at one point, and narrowly avoided having an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

Luckily she caught it just in time however, and disaster was averted.

Vanessa was so excited to be going to the event she asked her fans on her blog: 'I’m all Jewelled up for Coachella. Hehe. Who’s here this weekend? What bands are you excited to see?’

Emma Roberts was attending with her boyfriend Chord Overstreet, and the pair looked like they were seriously struck by puppy love.

Meanwhile a more experienced duo was Black Eyed Peas star Fergie and her hunky Transformers star husband Josh
