Former hell-raiser Nikki Sixx has admitted that recovery 'softened his heart' for photography, and now he's combined his two real loves, by shooting girlfriend Courtney Bingham.

The 53-year-old Motley Crue legend stepped in to helm the shoot for Cover Up's by Courtney line in Malibu.

And he seemed incredibly focused as he worked on getting a great result for his lady.

Courtney and Nikki have been dating since 2010, and she now lives with the former rock and roll who has also dated Kat Von D and Denise Richards.

They have more than 60-years of experience on the road combined.

Sixx is about to tour with Mötley Crüe and KISS.

The two bands announced the news at The Roosevelt Hotel in LA earlier today and have named the upcoming set of performances ‘The Tour’.

Each band will play a 90 minute set with KISS closing each night and the tour kicks off July 20th in Bristow, Virginia.
Paul Stanley told CNN: 'When you think about a lot of the shows you go to see, they're not live!. You go to these shows and you go, "Wow, it sounds just like my album". It IS the album!'

Mötley Crüe have been together for over 30 years, while KISS have been playing for almost 40.
Nikki Sixx, of Mötley Crüe still believes that they can inspire the younger generation.
He said: 'What I would like to see people take away from it is that if you actually practice your instrument and writing songs and put a hundred percent into your show, then this is what happens - you have a long career and you get to go out and do the real deal.'
