'So happy and honored': Bar Refaeli tweets excitement as she tops Maxim's 2012 Hot 100 list

She is one of the most beautiful and hardworking models in the business.

And now Bar Refaeli has been crowned the hottest women in the world by men's magazine Maxim in their 2012 Hot 100 list.

Today the 26-year-old tweeted her excitement about the top accolade.

Thrilled: The 26-year-old tweeted her excitement to her fans
'So happy and honored to be #1 on #Maximhot100! thank you @maximmag! "This is very exciting!"' she wrote on her Twitter page.
This year was the first time Maxim had their readers help decide who is on the list.
Coming in second place for the second year in a row is Magic Mike star Olivia Munn, and bumping up from fifth place to third from last year is Mila Kunis.

The business: Bar has made a name for herself as a bikini and lingerie model
Katy Perry has suffered a slight drop falling from third to fourth place.
Olivia Wilde meanwhile has rocketed up the list, powering up from 15th place to fifth place.
Also appearing on the roll call is Kate Middleton's little sister Pippa at No. 81.
It comes as she rose to notoriety following her sister's wedding last year.
