She was noticeably absent at Monday night's Met Ball, but Miranda Kerr was missing in action for a very good reason.

The Australian model was spending some quality time with husband Orlando Bloom and son Flynn in Bora Bora.

Instead of wearing a designer frock, the brunette beauty donned a skimpy white bikini for her time in the tropics.

The Victoria's Secret Angel took 16-month-old son Flynn for a walk in the beach.
No doubt she stopped men in their tracks in her tiny white suit, hipster sunglasses and straw fedora.
The 28-year-old and her baby boy soon reunited with father Orlando Bloom, 35, for a swim at the Four Seasons pool.
Bloom, 35, showed off his muscular chest while taking a dip at the Bora Bora after helping his doppelganger son with his floatation device.

The gorgeous family took a brief holiday in Tahiti before continuing on to New Zealand.
This is where the actor filmed his Lord of the Rings trilogy, as well as the upcoming film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Their trip meant that both had to miss the annual Costume Institute Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Despite having a wonderful holiday with her family, Kerr was disappointed to have missed the fashion industry fete.
She wrote on her Twitter page on Monday: 'So sad I can't be with you all tonight at the MET Ball! Sending love from New Zealand.'

Gwen Stefani was already kicking serious showbiz butt when Miranda Kerr was still at school.

So you might expect the No Doubt singer to look a little haggard next to her industry successor.

However, the golden girl, 42, outshone the Australian supermodel, 28, in West Hollywood last night at the A-list swarming premiere for Sir Paul McCartney's new video My Valentine.

Gwen looked striking in her Stella McCartney trouser suit, complete with sheer panels around a bustier and see-through portions down both sides of the delicate long-sleeved top.

Miranda showed off her supermodel shape, also in a Stella design, which boasted a daring wide split along the front of the frock and mesh panels down her left hand side.

It's little surprise that McCartney's designs were so prevalent on the red carpet, given that the premiere was held at her West Hollywood boutique.

Mother-to-be Reese Witherspoon also put in an appearance and didn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of her style as she rocked a black shift dress with cut-out detail on the arms and skirt.

The former Beatle, 69, looked dapper in a smart navy suit jacket which he had teamed with a denim shirt and jeans.

Meanwhile Nancy looked beautiful in bright blue and dressy clean-cut top with a pendant necklace.

Both Kristen Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow opted for black blazers, with the Twilight actress teaming hers with a crisp white shirt and a Persian blue skirt.

The Australian model kept her curves hidden beneath a pretty crocheted dress as she posed by a pool in Los Angeles.

The collection includes embellishments, prints, bright colors and neons, and mix and match which allows customers to switch tops and bottoms to create their perfect style.

The 28-year-old finished the look off with a dark red leather bag as she walked passed a pile of boxes carrying what looked like decorations.
