Heartache: Mone has recently split from her husband

Four weeks after Scotland’s best-known female entrepreneur Michelle Mone stated she was parting from her husband, the couple are still living together, I discover.

Bra queen Michelle, 40, whose lingerie company turned over £10.3 million last year, formally separated from child-hood love Michael two days after Christmas, but they remain ensconced at the family home in Glasgow.

‘I still love him and I feel so alone,’ said the mother-of-three as she arrived on her own for the Retail Trust Ball at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

And although she looked stunning in one of her own creations — a black floor-length evening gown — Michelle told me: ‘Despite what you see, I am hurting inside.’

Last year, she and Michael, who married 19 years ago, attended the same event arm-in-arm.

But, despite her obvious regrets, she insists: ‘There is no going back. It will definitely end in divorce.
‘At the moment, we are still living in the same house. We still talk to each other. But not for much longer.’

Michelle, who developed the Ultimo brand and started her MJM International company from scratch, insists she has never been unfaithful.

‘There were all sorts of issues — but now I just want to concentrate on my business and the children,’ she said.
